    Would it be feasible to add the option to edit certain text ‘in place’ on the UI?
    So, rather than opening a properties dialog box I’d like to have a ‘rename’ option in the right-click menu which enables direct editing of, for example track-header names, sequence names and drum-kit preset names.
    I realise this isn’t exactly top-of-the-list stuff and maybe it isn’t even realistically possible to implement, but I think it would aid workflow just a little.

    Any chance Frits?

    Actually, on reflection, it’s not really a time saver at all. On opening the properties dialog box the name text is already highlighted hence it’s just as quick. I still think it would look a bit neater though.

    However, specifically regarding the GM compatible drum-kit preset names that Podium creates, I would like to be able to rename the individual drum hits as displayed on the left of the drum sequence editor window as clicking on the names triggers the drum sound, thereby making it easy to match the drum sound to the name I wish to assign to it.

    I’ve added a ‘Drum Preset Properties’ context menu when you right-click on the drum line in the editor. Coming up in 1.66.

    Nice feature request Mart, this will be put to good use in 1.66 😉
