Topic: note event length question

    here’s an odd one :
    sometimes when i insert notes with the mouse the length does not match the selected grid size!
    happens with mouseclicking and with “insert” key ( all relevant snap setting are enabled )
    happened with 3.1.2 and lates beta to 3.2 too

    hm for me it was always in the selected grid size..

    (Right-click the quantize unit to call up this menu)

    You might have the Snap Relative to Grid function enabled. This setting copies notes at the next quantize point with the same time offset. Very useful to preserve swing, or grooves.
