ZynewaveKeymasterThis topic is for user created music featuring the Nucleum synth.
Post a reply in this topic with a link to your uploaded mp3 file, and a description of the instruments that Nucleum is playing.

rinxaiParticipantChasing a Sofa – Nucleum demo track by rinxai.
7mb VBR 192k mp3Software used:
DAW: Zynewave Podium
VSTi: Nucleum.
EnergyXT to host arp4midiAll sounds including drums are Nucleum. All audio effects used are Nucleums’ and Podium’s zEQ and Zreverb. No compressors limiters or mastering tools were used.
Most of the presets used here are based on the rinxai bank available in the users part of the wiki. I will later post a more detailed description of sounds used together with updated preset bank.

H-manParticipantNucTrak – http://www.box.net/shared/4ten3juasg
This track was made with Podium and Nucleum (ver0.25 and ver0.26).
Everything is Nucleum …with the exception of the kick drum and hats for which I used ephonic and Tessla SE (and for which I didn’t spend much time on π ).
I’m an old glitch-er from way back so my intention with this short piece was to push Nucleum out-there a little rather than, for example, just try and recreate a Rhodes 57 keyboard for example.
Like Rix above, no compressors limiters or mastering tools were used. I did however make extensive use of Podium’s Eq, Reverb and parameter automation, as well as Nucleum’s Midi control.
Anyway, have a listen…

runagateParticipantThis mp3 is 14 patches I made for Nucleum, just to show off it’s sound.
A very interesting FM matrix and modulation possibilities.I can’t state this enough: allowing modulation to be routed to modulators is the secret ingredient to many of my favorite synths! This one is pretty badassed, I’m glad I got to contribute some sounds.

Mike GParticipantHere’s another!
A bit more eighties than i’d intended.
I had lots of fun making it, and less painfull thanks to all great patches that I really just browsed and did minor tweaks to.
Mp3:Nucleum Only MikeG.mp3
Pod:Nucleum Only.podOhh and sorry about the singing on the mp3! (None nucleum instrument!?)
Thanks,

AaronParticipantHi.
I did a whole “record” with Nucleum.
It’s essentially a soundtrack to a movie that doesn’t exist. The drums were done with drumatic3
And all of the orchestral elements were done with the Edirol Orchestral VSTI
But everything else was done with nucleum. (all patches created from scratch)
Here are a few tracks:http://www.shadowsofbirds.com/Hold/05%20Elephantine.mp3
http://www.shadowsofbirds.com/Hold/06%20Spider%20tells%20it%20like%20it%20is.mp3
http://www.shadowsofbirds.com/Hold/07%20The%20Factory%20as%20Promise.mp3and here is the nucleum bank, if anyone’s interested:
http://www.shadowsofbirds.com/Hold/Fallout%20Bank.txtprobably my favorite vst synth i’ve used. (even though I’m pretty sure it crashed my system a billion times and I lost at least one track to save file corruption)
If anyone would like to hear the rest of the record you can download it here:

ZynewaveKeymasterHi Aaron,
Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, I have experienced random crashes as well. That is why I haven’t released a 1.0 version yet. The plugin is made with SynthMaker, which means there are some bugs that I don’t have control over. At some point I’ll check whether stability has improved with the latest SynthMaker release.

We need more film producers in the world! I think this work would back the recent TRON film perfectly. Especially the second one. There’s a retro feel. Sweeet!
Thanks for the soundbank. I love Nucleum too. Frits is one busy man.

AaronParticipantthanks for listening! If anyone does do something with the bank – I’d love to hear it too!
