bcgreenParticipantI don’t know if this is a bug or just something I’m doing wrong, but sometimes the numpad enter key “stop working”.
The spacebar continues working for starting/sopping playback, but the numpad enter key won’t start playback. The “0” key continues to stop playback, however.
I’ve made sure that the main interface has focus, etc. but to no avail. When I restart Podium, everything’s back to normal.
Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks!

ZynewaveKeymasterWhat about all the other numpad keys, are they working when enter has stopped working?

bcgreenParticipantyep, they sure are.
Thanks!

ZynewaveKeymasterHmm, I’ve checked the code and I cannot find an explanation why the enter key would not work, if the 0 key works. They are both checked in the same block of code. Next time it happens, try disabling/enabling monitoring to see if this brings back life to the enter key.

bcgreenParticipantokey dokey, I’ll give that a try. It hasn’t happened in a while….maybe it was just some weird fluke….
Thanks!

Actually I sometimes have this problem. I can’t really connect it to some special procedure I’m doing. It just comes and then goes away.
I have a wireless keyboard, do you?

OK just a thought. Now it seems like the spacebar is developing the same behavior… or maybe THAT was just a fluke… 🙄

ZynewaveKeymasterNow it seems like the spacebar is developing the same behavior
If you have key focus e.g. in the event list in the track inspector, then the space key is used to select items in the list (standard Windows behaviour). This is something I may change, as it has often annoyed me.

To be honest I’m not even sure what you mean by the event list i the track inspector… 😳
But I noticed that in the sequence editor event list the spacebar is disabled for start/stop.

ZynewaveKeymasterI’m not even sure what you mean by the event list i the track inspector.
The track page (shortcut: F5) has a listbox showing all events on the track.

Ahh I see… thanks. This is of course way off topic for this thread but this list would be the ideal place to rename sequences (and even mute, delete etc).
