    Hi Frits,

I have a strange issue with plugins not being found when searched.I open up a project and find some plugins missing. I then search for those missing plugins (done this so many times before successfully) but this time the plugins I search for are not being found.

Of course that means those projects must be rebuilt from scratch which would waste a huge amount of my time.

Two quick plugin examples with this issue are the Sonitus plugins (VST’s) and Rapture.

Some more info you might need from me…

a.The projects I am having this problem with were not created with 1.98.

    b. OS: Vista 32.

Any idea why this is happening? 🙁

The “search for missing plugins” function extracts the filenames from the broken mappings and tries to locate these files in the folder tree of the base folder you select.

Check the filename in the properties of a broken mapping, and use search in Windows Explorer to verify that this plugin file is still located in the folder tree you selected.

I did actually verify that the plugin was still there and it turned out that not all of the Soniuts plugs were on my hard drive. At some point that installation got corrupted because it is installed as a suite of plugs not individually.

So Podium was not at fault there, (definitely user error)…but Rapture *is* installed on my hard drive and was not picked up by Podiums scanner either. That is still a mystery.

Anyway to cut a long story short I did some restarts of the OS and now Podium is picking up all my plugins correctly and loading them.

So I am not 100% sure what caused the problem with Rapture but a few OS restarts has solved ths issue AFAICT.

    Cheers!
