Topic: Podium 2.23 process keeps running

    Hey,

    I’m on windows xp 64 bit and when I close podium 2.23 it’s process keeps on running. The program itself closes (as in the UI disappears and it vanishes from the taskbar), but in the task manager you can still see the podium.exe process running.
    I have to force kill this process to be able to turn of my pc. It’s nothing big, as it doesn’t disturb anything, but it’s a bug nonetheless.

    Sometimes I’ve the same problem on 32bits, but it’s fault of my Edirol ASIO drivers. Maybe you could check if turning off ASIO drivers (Using DirectSound instead) you get the same behavior.

    Today I couldn’t reproduce this, not with asio nor with directsound drivers. A bit frustrating, because it happened 4 times in a row the days before.

    Ah well, it’s not lethal, windows will prompt to kill the process if needed.

    edit: it seems that if I use podium for a longer amount of time this bug happens.
