    Hi,
I seem to be stuck on getting my Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum 24 bit sound card with a set internal sampling rate of 48000Hz to work with the Demo 1.95 version of Podium. I have found several messages in the forum on this problem but no solutions.
The set up works all the way up to picking the Audigy ASIO Emu10kx interphase which then shows all the various active channels of the sound card. I noticed that the clock source and default sampling rate boxes are grayed out at “internal” and “48000 Hz”, and a message at the bottom of the box saying “Currently active audio stream . When I pick a “New Arrangement” at a sampling rate of 48000Hz or at 44100Hz and click O.K. I get the message “Podium, Could not initialize audio interphase at 44100Hz sample rate”. I also get this message if I close Podium and restart it. The program saves all my settings but before I can click on the “Create” button the message appears as well.
Does this mean that my sound card is incompatible with Podium?
Any solutions on this would be appreciated. I don’t know if it makes a difference but I am using Windows 98 SE for my OS.

    Thanks,

If I remember correctly, then your Soundblaster only supports a sample rate of 48000, which explains why the default sample rate box is grayed out with 48000 as the only option. So you need to use a sample rate of 48000 in your arrangements. If you do this, do you get the error message saying it couldn’t initialize at 48000?

Also make sure there are no other applications running that uses the soundcard. If an application is using the soundcard it may prevent Podium from initializing the soundcard.
