Topic: Podium not recording, freezing and play disabled

    Hi, new to Podium here. I’m running the 32 bit version on Win 7, using Focusrite Scarlett 2i4. Selected scarlett ASIO driver. Master is set to output 1 & 2. Track 1 is set to Audio 1 input, source is unassigned. Everything looks right. I arm track 1 then turn on the transport record the track turns red. The I hit the space bar and nothing happens. I do see the input level when I speak into the mic, but no recording. I tried clicking on the play button while rec is on. The I/O button is lit green. Not sure what is going on. Sometimes after hitting rec, then play everything freezes for about 15-20 seconds. Is there something I’m missing? I can hear my audio on my headphones, but that’s about it. Thanks

    Hi,

    If you don’t have any plugins loaded then it’s likely an ASIO driver issue. Try installing the asio4all.com driver and see if that works. Often this driver performs better than the native drivers supplied by some sound cards.
