Hi,
1. I’m doing some midi editing and I notice that there are some black midi notes on my piano scroll are different than the notes I actually put in (which are orange in colour)… So what are those?
Those are ghost notes from other sequences. They are there to help alignment with rhythm and harmony of other sequences. You can control the display of the ghost notes with the “ghost note intensity” and “hide muted ghost notes” options in the piano roll region properties dialog.
2. Can I do midi time stretching?
Not yet. That will come when I get around to implementing audio time stretching. No time estimate for when that will come.
3. I’m having no luck in resizing multiple midi notes…in other hosts I was able to select all notes and then drag one of the notes and the rest would follow. Is this possible?
Not possible with the mouse. That’s a frequently requested feature so I’ll implement that at some point. You can however use the key shortcuts to edit the length of all selected notes. The key shortcuts are Ctrl+Plus and Ctrl+Minus, which will adjust in steps of the current editor quantize value.
