Shortly before Christmas I bought an Eee 900 netbook. I wanted it mainly for travels on the train, and field-trips in the summer 8)

I intend to use it mainly for writing stuff (such as the Podium guide) and for reading pdf files etc. Of course I tried installing Podium on it as well. I also installed asio4all for the internal soundcard. So far it seems to work ok. Only problem I encountered was the “create project” start page would not fit vertically on the small resolution (1024×600). I’ll solve this in a later update of Podium.

I play a little every day. I’ve gotten the habit of grabbing the guitar during TV commercials šŸ˜‰ (TV muted of course). I soon got bored with the online lessons I purchased, so I now just try to play my own stuff.

Nice purchase…I can see the grin on your face from here šŸ˜›

Tech radar had a recent article on a new Asus notebook offering. They have certainly been a great success. I think attempting to write / update the Podium guide using your new ‘netbook’ is a very good idea… a good way to try and keep the Podium guide up to date. Just remember not to work too hard! šŸ™‚
