Hi, it’s my first post here..
As I’ve currently started trying out this software, and although I’ve seen almost everything in DAWs throughout the years, this one, with its adorable minimal design, appears to be quite satisfying so far, except several little things such as a small pre-count feature for recording. That’s missing. It could be just a couple of bars. I think i saw a similar topic elsewhere followed by some punch-in workaround but still, pre-count as we know it, is essential even for professionals. It’s like a bold letters feature missing from a word processor. Quite a basic one.
I don’t know, correct me if you think i’m wrong, but most experienced sequencing software users, especially while under serious inspiration, like doing tasks really fast. This means that some basic functions need to be at hand in fractions of a sec. Such, is the well-known right click toolbox, as well as a visible Quantize button, or I don’t know what else people want, I just started reading posts here. Anyway, I’m not saying that Podium should turn into an alternative Logic Pro, but these things exist since the AtariST era and can’t change now.
Above all, congratulations to the dev/s. Podium has a great potential and deserves even more attention!
