I’d recommend editing your email address, so now bots come past and pick it up, otherwise you’ll started getting spammed
xis23 [at] hotmail [dot] come is a way some people write their email addresses online to avoid spam bots
I’ve edited xis23 email address.
oopsy i’ll bear that in mind. I always just thought it was paranoia before.

This sounds like a denormal issue. Do you have a P4 processor?
I checked the code and my un-denormal protection code may have to be inserted a little sooner in the processing. Could I email you an updated zPEQ version so you can check if this fixes your problem?
Whoever designed the denormal number handling on Pentium processors, and deciding not to put in an option to disable it, should be rolled in tar and feathers 👿
There’s just no way to completely avoid denormals, without doing something that essentially degrades the sound quality, or eats up unnecessary CPU cycles. I’ll need to work a little longer on this.
I’m not able to store presets for the zPEQ. The warning is displayed but the ‘plugin preset’ right-click menu options aren’t showing and ctrl+P doesn’t work either.
Mart.

Is the plugin editor visible in the track inspector?

You mean they are greyed out? This sounds like the plugin is not loaded. Are you sure that you have enabled monitoring?

Yes

Monitoring is enabled – ‘plugin presets’ option isn’t showing at all, but it’s there for other tracks.

That’s weird. Could you email me a trimmed down version of your project file?
email sent
Mart.
Nevermind Frits, I’ve found the problem now. My fault entirely 😳
I had moved the device definition and it was no longer connected in ‘device mapping properties’

Ok. Maybe I should implement a warning-popup when a mapping has no connected device definition.
I have uploaded a new version of the zPEQ plugin. Just download the same zip file in the VIP lounge.
This one should be denormal free. I managed to find a method that did not involve adding a low-level noise or otherwise degrading the audio signal. This version may also be slightly more CPU-efficient.
Please report if you find any problems with this version.
Thanks for the heads up.
