Topic: Problem with Gmedia Imposcar in version 1.16

    Hi Frits

    I have previously been able to use Gmedia Imposcar http://www.gmediamusic.com/ in Podium without any problems.

    However in version 1.16, when I try to insert a mapping of Imposcar, Podium completely crashes. It crashes so bad I can’t even do a CTRL-ALT-DEL to shut it down…

    Can you get the Imposcar demo and please try it in version 1.16 to see if the problem is on my end, or in the new version of Podium?

    I’ve tried doing “import plugin” again to see if that would fix it, but it also crashes on import

    I just tried the Imposcar demo in 1.16 and it works fine here – I guess that doesn’t help you much though 😕

    Just tried the Imposcar 1.00 demo, and it didn’t crash. I could not find any info on the gmedia site about version updates. Maybe there is something in the non-demo or later versions that is causing troubles. Could you try to uninstall 1.16 and install 1.15 to see if that fixes it? If it does, then it must be the VST sync extensions that I made in 1.16 that is causing the crash.

    Other suggestions would be;
    1/ Create a new empty project in Podium and try importing Imposcar, to see if it could be other plugins that is causing the conflict.
    2/ Try importing Imposcar into another host, to see if perhaps it is the Imposcar installation that has become corrupted.

    I uninstalled Podium 1.16 and put 1.15 back on – still crashing with Imposcar. Then I reinstalled Imposcar and it’s still crashing! Yep, it’s not a issue with the latest version of Podium after all.. it crashes energyXT as well. Sorry to bother ya
