spoonboilerParticipantHi Frits: (and other users)
I am back, albeit a little late. So happy to have Podium again! 😀 8)Now, the issue at hand:
Can anyone tell me what the heck is up with Podium’s reaction to Concrete FX synths? They come into the device list alright, although as inserts rather than synths, ao they have to be edited. But then once assigned to a track, if you try to do anything with them, even try to open the GUI, it all goes boom! there is an instantaneous “access violation” that opens over and over, 321 times at last count, before it finally closes Podium automatically….
I wonder if you could download the demo of Adder, or Digital, and see if you can tell me what is happening there?
oh, I hope it’s not my system, I do hope so!!!!
Thanx Frits.

kagemushaParticipantI can confirm it. At the end there also was a message that the plugin has performed an illegal action (and there is possible memory corruption because of that). I only tested this Adder
Are these plugins made with Synthedit. I have problems with a lot of them.

duncanparsonsParticipantthey’re not synth edit, jon uses delphi… but that shouldn’t be an issue.. Have you tried any of the voxengo plugs? they are delphi too..

It is not your system. The problem has been brought up some time ago, by another Podium user on the ConcreteFX forum on K-v-R:
http://www.kvr-vst.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=612595
I contacted Jon with the few details I was able to determine concerning the bug. In the last email I received from Jon, he said he had changed the memory manager which seemed to fix the problem. He said he would await the response from ageis before releasing a new demo version. I’ll email Jon again to ask what the status is.

spoonboilerParticipant😀 Hey, thanx Frits, and thanx to the others who responded too.
I will check the kvr too, and see if there is any info there.

Sorry, I meant that I have problems with a lot of Synthedit plugins, not with plugins from ConcreteFX [exept this one]. It’s the first time I tried one from CFX and because of the problem I wondered if it was Synthedit made.
