I read on the feature list, that it will be either MFX or VST Midi.
Maybe in that case it would be better to go for both in the longrun and not put one of it aside forever. Many past and future requests for improvements in the midi editor section would be obsolete by a wider possible usage of plugins, which might make it worthwhile, considering the work saved for integrated midi features in Podium.
