Topic: Request: when recording a track

to start at the point of the cursor. I am not sure the most clear way to ask. But, when I hit record on a track that already has media on it I have to cut and delete from the point of the first piece of audio.

So, I have 20 bars clear between a recorded piece and a new piece on the same track. When I finish the new piece the audio is connected and I have to cut and delete again. Can this be changed?

I would like the audio to start at the point of the cursor not go back over the whole track.

Is this clear? I hope!
