    Hi guys,after a couple of years I have returned to Podium, but there are a couple of things that I cannot understand on this software.

    1) Do I really have to UPDATE the Plugin list for EVERY PROJECT every time ? Is there a way for Podium to scan for new plugins automatically ?

    2) Is there a way to export to file just a selection of the timeline ? Each time that I bounce to a file, I need to re-open it in Audacity and cut the parts that I don’t need.

    3) Is there a ‘search’ button somewhere in this forum ? I can’t find it !

    Thank you in advance for your help

    I tell you what I do usually. If you find a better way, let me know. 😉

    1) Build the plugin database only once with Rebuild and load plugin database on the Create New Project page. This command creates a global database can be used in all projects. At this point, for all new projects, just select Load plugin database. In this way, you’ll use always the plugin in the global database you have created.
    If for some project you need to add more plugins, you can use Import plugin… or Import plugin for folder… from the Devices menu in the Project Start Page. The new plugin will only be added to that project and not to the main database.
    If you need to heavily modify the global database by adding dozens of new plug-ins, you should rebuild it again with Rebuild and load plugin database. If you maintain the old database folders structure, the old projects will be able to find the new plugins when you select Load plugin database.

    2) The following method can be applied to a single track or to the master track to export a multitrack bounce file:
    – Right click on the bounce slot and select Hide Track Lane;
    – Double click on the audio bounce to open it in the editor;
    – Select the part you want to export and then select Export Selection to Sound File… from File menù.

    3) It’s hidden. :mrgreen:
    Click on the “+” sign in the upper right corner in all pages of the web site.

    Man THANK YOU ! You are a genius ! But still, I can’t understand the reason I should click on “hide track lane” 😀 Anyway, it works like a charm, thanks again.
    About the search button, I have been looking for it for 2 weeks LOL and it was there under the Plus sign…. Now I feel retarded or something like that !
