MrslipyParticipantRewire is free to all developers and is brought by Propellerheads.

ZynewaveKeymasterHi,
It is free, but it is not freely available. I have tried contacting Propellerheads in the past, without reply. Currently I have other things on the plan, but I will try with Rewire again in a few months time.

deadbeefParticipantDid you fax or mail your license agreement to them? For us, we did, then 6 months later (after enough users bugging them), they emailed back saying they hadn’t gotten it.. so I’d suggest sending the fax a few times and giving them something physical to get in their way 😉

ZynewaveKeymasterHi Justin 🙂 ,
Thanks for your suggestion. I must admit I haven’t tried that hard yet. I don’t have access to a fax machine, so I sent them an email (twice) asking if it would be ok if I just snail-mailed the signed agreement to them. No reply, even though my web-stat showed that someone at propellerheads.se headquarters was surfing my site shortly after my email. So I figured they weren’t that enthusiastic about having another host to support. When I find time to look at Rewire, I’ll just mail the agreement to them, and see if they respond to that.

So you know its free
But know i dont want to waste your time longer, if you included Rewire and Remixtool(s) like Beatslicing , then perhaps i buy it
But the best you can do to Podium would be to use it as RewireMaster and! -Slave to allow this: Master(Cubase?), Slave(podium), slave(Reason)March 15, 2007 at 18:43 #9294
bcgreenParticipantI’ve never had much luck with ReWire, so this ain’t in my top 10 list of feature requests..even with a relatively powerful machine (2GHZ pentium-M, 1 gig ram) I can’t avoid CPU overrun and just general instability.
Until I can afford to buy a quad-cpu computer, I won’t (can’t) be using ReWire….
