Topic: Right click to assign mapping ?

    hi

    I can’t see an option when right clicking a track to assign an output mapping (only to unassign when already mapped).

    Is this a deliberate omission ?

    It’s a common way to quickly assign a track output in sequencers (although arguably not a huge amount quicker than using the inspector but every second counts, as New Order said 😉 )

    It’s deliberate that is omitted from the track context menu. However, if you left-click on the map row in the mixer, you will get a device menu. I’m probably going to extend this to the group panel in the inspector, and maybe also to the mapping box in the track lane header.

    Ah – I see. That’s probably just as useful – although the map row is difficult to see on my monitor…rather dim against the background. Can this be edited ?

    You can try with a different color scheme. The map fields are highlighted when you move the mouse over it.

    Yep – that’s better.

    Changed default New Track colour to something more revealing.
