ConquistadorParticipantHi Frits,
Have signatures been disabled for this forum? I cannot seem to get any text in the signature field to show up in my posts.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks 😉

ZynewaveKeymasterHmm, I don’t know. I have the “enable signatures” option selected in the database configuration, but I could not get a signature to show either.

I was 99% convinced that some sort of setting on my PC might be blocking it, or something to do with my browser but thanks for confirming that something is not working somewhere with signatures. 😉
I just cannot get it to work. Existing signatures appear to work as many have signatures on this forum but new sigs just do not seem to appear.
Maybe the forum software developers (phpBB) can help.

haikuParticipantIt should be working, I changed mine just yesterday to hyperlink the word “smart” in mine to point to http://www.smartbeats.com and it worked… I think it’s probably going to be on your side if I could do that yesterday.
good luck!

Interesting. Perhaps the problem is with new signatures from a certain date onwards. That may be why you were able to change your signature and possibly why Frits could not get a signature to show either.
I’ll try Firefox and IE (I use IE7) again and see if it’s a browser issue.

ZynewaveKeymasterI think I got it now. In your profile there is a “Always attach my signature” option. If this is not enabled, you need to select the “Attach signature” option below the message edit field.

Now it works but I changed nothing. Both options you mentioned above are ticked and were before I started this thread.
All a bit strange but it does work now thanks. 😉

haikuParticipantWeird, I actually removed my signature, saved my profil, then made it again and saved it. I’m using Firefox 2.0 if that helps.. (I highly reccomend it for browsing).

Yes Firefox 2.0 is pretty good. Some nice ideas, but IE7 is still my main web browser. 😉

IE7 takes so long to open new tabs it drives me crazy! 😆

darcyb62ParticipantI have 2 browsers on my machine and neither is IE.
Use Firefox most of the time but also play around with Opera. Depends on the mood I’m in.

haikuParticipantOpera is a good browser, but I never spent enough time with it to get into it. It seesm to do too much stuff or something for me.
