Topic: Synth1’s elusive MIDI options tab (solved)

    Hello, I’ve got a small problem with Synth1 (http://www.kvraudio.com/get/214.html).

    When I click the OPT button at the bottom and switch to the MIDI tab to check my mappings, the view returns to the General tab almost immediately. It looks like the MIDI tab is still active, though.
    This means I’d have to save & load my prepared mappings in another host, as the buttons for that are on Synth1’s MIDI page.
    Can you help? 🙁

    Tried it, and can confirm the behaviour. Weird! 😕

    I have no idea why it does this. The dialog is managed by Synth1 and so Podium should have no direct influence on this problem.

    Well, you’ll know better than anyone if Podium did something different about updating plugin GUIs, maybe.
    In any case, don’t worry about it… it’s no biggie. 😉

    Just read in the news on kvr that a new Synth1 1.08 version is released. One of the things mentioned is:

    Fix: Correspondence of the malfunction that the MIDI tab of the optional dialogue is replaced by without permission.

    Apparently a robot translation from Japanese, but it seems that this is a fix for the MIDI tab problem.

    Yes, I noticed! 🙂
    Though I don’t use it as much nowadays, I’m still glad this is fixed nonetheless (only had to do the workaround once or twice since reporting the bug, so it wasn’t too bad).
