Hi,
The Tabs representing windows in Podium are nice but they are a little bit “under employed”.
I mean that there is the place to have the option to keep more Tabs “open” in order to switch between them.
For example, there is in general two Tabs open (the Browser and an Arrangement), and if I go to the Browser the Tab arrangement stays present.
But if I open a Folder in the Browser for editing a Mapping, this window replaces the Arrange one and I must reopen it (and reconfigure the zoom etc.).
The Arrangement could stay open and the Folder also, if I want to return to edit it.
It would be also useful to switch between two or more Arrangements (I often use one for fine editing with bounces, and another one for composition).
The Tabs could have a little Menu (like the embed List) to have the opotion to :
– stay open
– close
– change its place (to Left / to Right)
Of course, it would be also nice to have the Tab Configuration saved with the project…
For the end of 2006 perhaps ? 😉
