So what’s a person in the Philipines doing playing pipe music?
Actually its pretty good… I’m not all that into the pipes but it’s a well put together song… Very nice feeling to it… And I like the way the lead guitar comes in…

Wow!!! Nice song!! I like the melody and how the song develops.. You put the drums a bit far away.. they could be more “in the face”.. 🙂 But this is a pure matter of taste. I like it anyway! Do you have more like this? 😛

Ok, here is something I have written and recorded this weekend. I really like to have some nice vocals on it, but I am not a singer.. If anybody has an idea, please p.m. me…
The song is hard rock. I used Jamstix and ezDrummer for drums, and the Line6 Gearbox plugin for all the guitars and bass. The entire song was made with Podium of course! 😉 The mix is a first draft..

francoisParticipantWow!Even i am not a hard rock lover , i like this one very much , even without lyrics i can listen to it !I am not a lyrics writer , so i have the same problem as you Max.Hope you’ll find some one , on my side i’ll try to find a melodic line. The guitar chorus is really great 😀 If you dont find here , may be you should try http://www.bandamp.com ,(completly free) if you could contact Takamiherb he is great in lyrics i am sur he will love your piece.
Mixing , nothing to say…congrats!
FrancoisMarch 4, 2007 at 10:46 #9142
PodianerParticipantThank you Francois! 🙂
Lyrics are not the problem.. The fact I cannot sing is 😛
March 4, 2007 at 22:49 #9144
francoisParticipantIn that case , send me the lyrics , i’ll sing it for you! 😀

Just a little somthin’ I threw together in an evening in order to learn Podium a little better…I’m kinda diggin’ where it’s going, though. And by the way, the “guitar” is not a real guitar at all but the absolutely fantastic Slayer II plug…
Thanks!

PodianerParticipantHey guys..
For those of you, who like some fast rock songs in the style of Motorhead, I have finished working on my band’s album. Its title is “Hello From Hell”..
You can download the whole album here:
http://www.sound-m.com/album.rar
I also added a playlist. The album consists of 15 songs.. including 3 ballads. I am proud that this work finally is finished.. I worked for over a year on this, with some breaks in between 😉
I would really like to know your opinion!! Have fun while listening!! 8)
Max
P.S. If somebody wants to know about production details, I will post them here too.
