    Hit Frits,

Not sure if this is a bug or not but I have a project that I am working on and whenever I use the Zoom button/slider (bottom right) in the arrange view it re sizes the tracks but sometimes becomes unresponsive and the tracks size increases considerably but will not reduce in size.

Not sure if this is a bug or not but the behaviour is odd. I am sending you the project now.

If I save the project with a normal track size say 5 – 10 tracks on screen it will not save my changes even when using the save all changes option.

    Bug or user error?

Try this example when you get the file, try using the small zoom tool bottom right to reduce the size of the tracks then click save all changes, then close Podium and start it again.

    Open the project.

On my system the track size is not saved. The zoom tool sometimes becomes fiddly or completely unresponsive. It moves but will not resize the track. This behaviour was a bit random as well

    Hi,

The zoom bar in the right pane of the window is a display scale zoom. It does not change the relative track heights, which you set by dragging each individual track. This makes it possible to quickly zoom out so that all tracks are at their minimum height, and zoom back in again without disrupting the relative heights of the tracks. In the first arrangement in your project file, it seems that you had set the zoom out to maximum, and then dragged the height of the tracks. Thus when restarting Podium (or by setting the track zoom to default by control clicking the zoom bar), all the tracks will be huge.

I’m going to revise this behaviour the coming days. The next release 1.35 will save the zoom settings of each arrangement in the project file.

Thanks for the explanation Frits. 🙂

    Looking forward to 1.35 😉
