    hi

I have just built my new C2D DAW and so far am trying to keep it lean ‘n’ mean in terms of software.

I have installed the latest Podium release.

After setting up Cubase SX it’s time to setup Podium !

Now in my previous DAW I spent a long time setting up definitions for VSTi’s and sysex stuff for Yamaha plg cards.

Will this default project work OK in this new DAW ?

The only important hardware change (apart from the new C2D processor) is adding in an RME multiface (in addition to the original 9652).

I guess Podium will warn me that some mappings need sorting out (there are many VSTi’s that I haven’t installed yet).

Could I just paste the important definitions (ie Yamaha ones) into a new project ?

    thanks

I suggest you copy your old default project and use that as a base. You will then need to manually modify your audio input/output mappings to your new interface. If you have new plugins or installed them in different locations you can use the start page device panel menus to search for missing plugins or scan & import new plugins. The remaining plugins in your list that has a red icon can then be deleted.
