Topic: Triggering midi with audio track

    Hi,

    my question is simple. How do I trigger samples inside Session Drummer using Kdrumtrigger? Please if anyone can give me a simple solution, I’ve tried lots of things, but can’t work it out. The way I see it is the midi out from Kdrumtrigger should be sent to the midi in of Session drummer.

    Hope someone is using just this combination and can give me a step-by-step explanation 🙂 Thanks in advance and happy New Year,

    if memory serves me well – you can’t right now because it’s not implemented yet, is it?

    Midi plugins and routing midi from one track to another is not supported yet, so you have only one workaround:

    Use a “sub host” like energyXT or FL Studio for both, the Kdrumtrigger and Session Drummer. In those sub hosts (the named ones can work the way you asked for) you can route the midi out from the Kdrumtrigger to Session Drummer.
