ZynewaveKeymasterThe following resources are created by Podium users, and kindly made available for public access. The tutorials can be a great assistance for new Podium users, and experienced users may also pick up useful tips by learning how other users work with Podium.
AcousModules has made a tutorial that focuses on setting up Podium for multi-channel/surround:

ZynewaveKeymasterA new tutorial is up on the wiki section:
The track hierarchy

Comments?
I wonder if any of you have done something similar, or even were aware that you could do something like this in Podium?

Awesome! At this time I won’t need such a monitoring setup, but I also was not aware of the possibilities! π³
The power of the hierarchic engine becomes obvious here! The tutorial section is a good one 8)
Anyway, when does 1.71 arrive? π

Very interesting. Made me smile for sure. A bit of an advanced feature there.
While not nearly the same thing, I do have a *sub* master track just below the master (but above the rest of the mix) that I map either the Inspector (to fully analyze my mix) or the excellent new Sonalksis Free G.
Sometimes I swap out the stereo version of the Sonalksis FreeG with the Mono version to hear how the mix sounds in mono. This seems to work so far as all the pan settings on tracks disappear.
The tutorial you wrote highlights some of the more advanced capabilities of Podium. 8) Good to see. Certainly some things I did not know but I am glad I know now π

PodianerParticipantNew video tutorials..

wanyzeParticipantI had a closer look at some Tutorials such as here:
http://www.zynewave.com/wiki/doku.php?id=tutorials:tracks:indexThose are really good written and they help me alot to understand Podium!
The only thing about them is they haven’t been updated? I don’t have βWrap in new group trackβ in my version of Podium, the Icons look different as well. Not a biggie, but confusing at first.

pwdmParticipantI had a lot of trouble working out how to get the right sysex messages into my hardware. Came up with a simple way using Midiox and a mid editor.
http://www.zynewave.com/wiki/doku.php?id=tutorials:capture_sysex:indexShould work with other midi editors as well.

ConquistadorParticipantAdded two SideChain tutorials to the WIKI, one for Crunchessor 2 and the other for Compressive.
January 20, 2009 at 16:08 #13818
ConquistadorParticipantAdded a 3rd sidechain tutorial using a 2 track set up. It’s Frits text, I just added a bit more text and some images for illustration.
The first two sidechain tutorials covered a 3 track set that provides a dedicated Output track for bouncing e.t.c but the two track set up is quicker if you do not need a dedicated output track for bouncing different versions of the Sidechain tracks output for instance in realtime or offline.

I love your background theme. Where can i download that?
February 15, 2009 at 19:58 #14365
ConquistadorParticipantSorry Melody Man it is a secret. π
No seriously it is lovely no? 8) It is a Windows 7 wallpaper image. The one I am using is almost made for Podium as if to illustrate all the possibilities.
Where to get it and the rest of the Windows 7 Wallpaper images?
That would be here. π
Or you could go straight here. Click on the images to find a selector (top right) that should allow you to download a resolution to suit your screen.
Enjoy π
