PodianerParticipantI really like the fact that recorded files are now saved in folders specified by the arrangement. But will it be possible to save an old project so that the same effect happens on all the old files, too? I have a folder with 980 files in it. Complete chaos. The references for each objects are saved somewhere. You only have to move the files 😀 to do it by hand will cost me weeks.. it is even impossible. If this is too time consuming, then forget about it.. But what would help me then, and I remember you saying that it will come eventually, is a “cleaning” feature.. My harddrive will thank you!! 😉 Will this be possible soon?
Thanks,

ZynewaveKeymasterMy goal is to create a new icon for sound objects that are saved in another file folder than the arrangement folder. The context menu for these sounds will then have a menu for copying/moving the sound files to the arrangement folder. This can be used in your case to move sounds into arrangement sub folders, but can also be used to make local project copies of e.g. drumloops dragged into an arrangement.
If you use these commands for all your sounds in all your arrangements, then the sounds remaining in your project folder should be the orphan sounds, which you then can delete.

PodianerParticipantSounds like a good solution to me. Will this be available in the next release? PLEASE! 😆

ConquistadorParticipantYes it sounds like a very good solution. Looking forward to that as I have some projects that would benefit from it. 8)

Will it be possible to do that with a selection of files and not only for one selected sound object? Quite a time saver then..

Yes. Just like you can do it currently with broken links to sound files.

PodianerParticipantAlthough it will help to bring some order in my current projects, it does not help deleting orphan files, does it? The possibility to delete them manually in the list window would be perfect.

That will come later.
