I downloaded the free Waves plugins a while ago and haven’t been able to get any of them to work in Podium. Am I right in saying you have to import the Waveshell extension into Podium then you load the plugins through that? I’ve tried importing all the .dll files it came with but I keep getting the error “This plugin could not be loaded”. Any workarounds?

I tested demo versions of Waves surround plugins years ago, and at that time the Podium plugin scanning was able to automatically import all the plugins through the Waveshell. They may have changed the system since then.

About the “This plugin could not be loaded” message: Perhaps there are multiple versions of the dlls. Make sure you select x86/x64 versions matching the Podium version you use.

Ok so I’m still having this issue, I can’t seem to load the x32 version of the waveshell to access the plugins. If I run the x64 version in Podium x64 it works fine, but none of my other plugins are x64 so this isn’t a solution.

Can you give me a link to the free Waves plugin you are trying to use?
