ZynewaveKeymasterI have updated the website backend software. To do this I needed to revise some of my customizations of the shopping cart system. Please check that your downloads page is showing the correct information. If you notice problems, let me know.
The expiration date for purchases made before August 2015 is extended with one year, as compensation for the delays in Podium development during 2014/2015. A message about this should appear on your downloads page. The expiration date shown on your downloads page should include the extra year.
If you have let your upgrade period expire more than a year ago, or if you have not yet purchased a Podium license, you will also get an extra one year extension of the upgrade period, if you make a purchase before August 2015.

PulseParticipantGreat to see some movement at last Frits. Been sitting on the fence and demoing different other daws in the meantime, but never really jumped ship. Hope development will continue.

ZynewaveKeymasterApparently, the shopping cart upgrade has broken the download links for the Podium installers. I’m working on solving this issue.

ZynewaveKeymasterI think it is fixed now. I had to change the method used to generate the download links, so the zip files now have a unique code in the file name. You can rename the file after it is downloaded if you like. If anyone still have problems with the download links, please let me know.

ZynewaveKeymasterOnce again, I’ve had to spend some time fixing issues with updates to the website backend software. Let me know if you find something that is broken.

nicholas.hParticipantHi, in case you didn’t know, the (zynewave.com) website has some issues. I have only noticed these recently, so it could be due to an automatic WordPress update breaking something? The issues are as follows, as observed in both latest Firefox and latest Chrome on Windows XP:
1. The navigation menu don’t function (no dropdown menu appears) on some pages, preventing the site from being navigated. This affects the following pages:
Zynewave > Welcome (home page)
Products > Podium
Products > Podium Free
Blog > Front page
Also affects http://zynewave.com/uncategorized/a-new-zynewave-com/#2. Some featured videos don’t appear, instead leaving blank space. Occurs on:
Zynewave > Welcome (home page)
Products > Podium
Products > Podium Free
Also affects http://zynewave.com/uncategorized/a-new-zynewave-com/#November 13, 2015 at 04:27 #29468
ZynewaveKeymasterThanks for notifying me. This was brought to my attention by another user a couple of days ago, and I thought I had fixed it. It was a WordPress or perhaps a plugin update that started the issue, but the problem seems to be with the site caching. I’m using the CloudFlare service to cache the website on servers around the world. It is apparently only some parts of the world that has the problem. I have not seen the problem myself here in Denmark. If I disable the CloudFlare caching, the problem went away for the other user, who I believe is in Poland. I just tried to purge all caches on the CloudFlare control panel. Could you tell me if you still see the problem?
It’s frustrating how much time I have to spend maintaining the website. I need to update WordPress and its plugins for security reasons, but then I risk running into these kinds of problems. The latest update to the slider plugin seems to have messed up the video scaling. I’m considering removing all pages with videos and animated slides on the website, and just refer to the YouTube page.

nicholas.hParticipantEverything is working perfectly again now, thanks/well done!

kingtubbyParticipantI had that problem here too, but it appears to be resolved now 🙂

thcilnnahojParticipantTold you JavaScript was the devil, and I know him well enough! 😉
I don’t know how involved it is to switch WordPress themes nowadays, but I’d rather have a minimal website without all the fancy stuff that is prone to breaking, and more time for you to spend on Podium. Doesn’t sound like you enjoy fixing the thing either…

kingtubbyParticipantThe problem with the non-functioning menu bar has surfaced again. Also, the standard login is inaccessible. I found another way to login but I’m not sure how to log out now though…

ZynewaveKeymasterThanks for notifying me. Like the last time, I’m not seeing the problem here in Denmark. I updated WordPress a couple of days ago, which probably is the reason why this problem has resurfaced. I thought I had cleared the CloudFlare caches, but I’ve now done it again just to be sure. Give it a few hours, and let me know if the problem persists.

LevendisParticipantEverything is working dandyful!
(Win10, Microsoft Edge)
