Not sure what you mean here. There are some plugs I think the Camel plugs that have some sort of ramdom preset feature, is this what you mean?

Although I do like the idea of a preset generator, it really does have to be implemented by the developer of the VST instrument/effect.

All Podium (correct me if I’m not reading this right, by all means) would be able to do is randomize on the device parameters it picks up on importing the VST plugin. That could and would lead to an almighty amount of rubbish and noise as all the parameters would be set to random values.

Ok. Admittedly the amount of parameters that Podium could adjust could be limited but, that would require an intimate knowledge of every VST plugin to know which parameters to leave out of the randomisation feature, a lot of work on Frit’s part I think.

I’m not a developer by any means (Reaktor 5, Tassman 4 is all), so most of what I’ve said may be wrong, just my thoughts on the idea.:wink:

By the way, Hitman, keep the ideas coming. It’s often ideas from users that make software even better than before. 🙂
