Topic: wierd audio bug

    Seem to have stumbled upon a strange bug where I have bounced tracks, but only parts of the audio stream will play back (generally about the last quarter)… it only seems to have happend when i have left podium running in the background for hours and then come back to it. The cpu is all within limits. It resolves if i shut podium completely and start it again, but once the bug has started it will happen in any arrangement in that project… i haven’t tried loading other projects after it has began. It’s pretty rare, only about the 3rd time its happened since i’ve owned podium.

    Next time it happens, try the following before exiting Podium:

    Try switching monitoring off and on. If this does not help, try opening the MIDI/audio interfaces dialog and press OK. This will restart the audio driver and reset the internal sample position counter. Let me know if any of this cures the problem, as this will be a clue to where the bug is.

    ahh i have tried restarting monitoring already… even tried monitoring a completely different arrangement and that arrangement exhibited the same problem… didn’t try to restart the audio though so i’ll definitely give that a go next time although could be a long time before it happens again!
