darcyb62ParticipantI am really getting the hang of this app. I have been working on a song in both Tracktion and Podium for comparison and I am finding that Podium is indeed more powerful once you understand the way it works and I find that I can be much more efficient with Podium. Podium’s bounce functionality is a life saver and the addition of offline bouncing was a significant enhancement to my workflow.
A question though. When working with plugins I seem to be hit or miss in working with presets. If the presets appear in the menu area no problems, but if I am using a preset from within the plugin itself I can’t seem to be able to save it. For example, if I am using amplitibe and I select a one of the presets from within Amplitube how do I keep that preset active so that when I re-open the project that preset automatically loads. I know it can be done becaue I’ve done but for the life of me I can’t recall how I did it. Same issue with something like Posihfopit. I can get an eq settnig I like but I can’t figure how to save it. But again, I’ve done with a couple but I’m not exactly sure how. With Tracktion I don’t need tow worry about this. It saves settings automatically.

MaxParticipantHello Darcy.
Just create the preset for your plug by pressing ‘new’ button in the presets panel.

I think this must be the single-most confusing aspect of Podium, judging from the number of support questions concerning storing plugin settings. I’m going to improve the plugin preset system soon.

That rings a bell…
To confirm using Amplitube as an example.
I would load Amplitube.
I would select the preset I want within Amplitube.
I would then press the “new” button in the presets panel to save the plugin settings. If I were to change the preset within Amplitube would I have to then create a new preset within Podium?

No, just leave the ‘sync’ button enabled.
