Please Frits, can you :
– reset the fades when two events doesn’t overlap anymore !
– option to snap to the edges of events.
Nothing new, but always needed.
And by the way, eventually, if you have time…
– option to NOT hide the clip handles when the mouse is not over the clips
– option to NOT flash the events each time the mouse is over the upper edge, the change of the pointer aspect is enough and it is very disturbing all the time (or add a handle at the top center).
Thanks.

Any chance ???
It’s on the list, but I’m currently focusing on developing the track management. Later on I’ll get back to working on events.
Question:
When you move an event away from another crossfaded event, I assume you want the fade in/out on both events to be reset? (not just the selected/moved event).
I pretty much agree with all of the suggestions in the first post. When you have time of course Frits π but I think there is room to refine those features.
Heavy usage tends to make these things more of an issue. I can see where acousmod is coming from. π

Just missed your post… π I would say both files as neither of them would be crossfading anymore.

Yes of course.
Thanks in advance π

Bump π
er… I’m sorry to insist, but it is my nearly three years old request :

I think that we must celebrate it π
Any chance ?
It is, always, REALLY a pain to do audio montage without this such basic feature…
And it will also prevent holes or overlapping of enveloppes.
This answers a question i was going to post – I do lots of micro-editing / montage and without snap to item edges and crossfade reset that would be very difficult.
Back to Reaper (which has it’s own problems), but I shall continue to follow Podium
Hello ?
I have a shortcut to this topic on my list, so I’ll look at it when it fits into my schedule.
Nice…
Just in the case of you wonder how to implement it, perhaps this can help :
