Hi and thanks for taking the time to reply!
To monitor my system I’m using some custom app called process explorer. I had no idea something was wrong until Windows popped up a message box saying something like “you’re out of memory” (8gigs DDR4 + i5) and that I should restart Podium. After doing so several plugins started to crash. The same thing happened two more times even though I tried to replace the reported plugins and restarted the PC.
I took some time to investigate the issue and I found out that after working on a project for a while the memory commit charge would go up to 30+ gigabytes. The VST’s reported by Podium in random order were: Sforzando, Tal Vocoder, Deputy, Kjaerhus Classic Compressor, TDR VOS Slick EQ and a couple of more that I can’t recall right now. They are certainly not “Waves” but they are pretty decent plugins that I used for while without any problems.
Aside this issue Podium is in my opinion the best DAW of its league and I really enjoy my time using it. Really good job!
