because there are people who only give a host five minutes or so to get it going before moving on to the next one
😛 I needed 5 minutes to buy Podium!
The optional generic editor is possible in the current release. You can turn it on when you go to the properties of a plugin mapping. What I meant was, that it would be nice to have both, the generic one in the inspector and the native one when pressing “e”.
Great effort Podianer! Translating everything must have taken ages. Well done.
Thanks! Completing the whole guide WILL take ages.. 😕 But I’ll try.. 😛
I hope that there are others, who like to help me, at least with the german guide. And I hope, that the wiki will soon be integrated into the main Zynewave site, because in that way people can see how it is to be a part of the Podium user base.

Phrazor now supports multi I/O VSTi! THAT IS A DREAM in Podium (as in every other host).. Especially for drums, as the single kit pieces do not need any automation. You can save a whole combination of a drum sampler, setup outs, plugins etc. and load it with 2 clicks in every Project you have. Put your midi under the track, bounce it and you have your drum part ready.. 🙂
Nice one! I love it.. 8)
I consider the whole arrangement editor i.e. the mixer and the track view as a signal flow diagram… For Cubase or Sonar this makes sense, because the flow is different than it is presented by the application.
Just my 2 cents…
quite time consuming to translate this huge guide.. the project part is nearly complete for germans..
Hehe.. We can already see the new “sticky notes for tracks” feature coming in 1.61
Found it on Frits’ screenshot in the wiki.. Nice one. Hopefully “excluding muted tracks from disk streaming” will be implemented as well. As a start for optimizing the disk streaming.. 😀
Thanks… 🙂
More translations to come..
Done.. 8)
Frits? Could you create the same “tree” for the other guides, that is used for the english version? I just don’t know how to do it.. 😳
That’s why the getting started page is the only one there… 😉
Ok I’ve translated the getting started tutorial into German. Took quite a while because of the length.. The whole guide will take a lot longer, and I hope I am not the only German guy here 🙂
I think the “getting started” is the most important part of the guide as far as attracting new users is concerned. Thanks to you Frits, it is not full of all details. It is even enough to “get started”, although Podium is quite complex! Very well done!
Ok, now I’ll try to put the german version into the Wiki..
ok, it works.. I am very much motivated.. And I have nothing to do at the moment. Thus I have just begun to translate the getting started tutorial. But I will wait to put it in, until you have your pictures in.. 😉
One color scheme is already on its way 8)
I am logged in, but all the pages are marked as “read only” 🙁
EDIT: I get this message
“This page is read only. You can view the source, but not change it. Ask your administrator if you think this is wrong.”
😳 Ok, maybe I am blind and I don’t see it, but how can I change a site? Or how can I create one.. is this feature open yet?
I’d like to contribute some things, too..
🙂
EDIT: I could even help translating the guide to german.
That way bounce tracks will also reduce disk-streaming as well as CPU usage.
I think this will be a good starting point for the optimizations. But further more optimizations are required, because I actually do not have that much tracks playing, that Podium should have drop outs.. In Cubase I never even touched the limit of tracks, as far as hard drive performance is concerned.
But anyway, I am looking forward to the next release.. 😛
