I let you know if something works. If i start podium with no midi enabled in podium setup it starts with out probs … but with no key there is not so much funny :-))

Erstmal vielen Dank für Eure Threads. Das hat mir schon mal sehr geholfen.
Bis ich mir mein Dual System zulegen kann wird es wohl noch ein paar Wochen dauern.
Könnt ihr mir vielleicht ein paar tips geben, wie ich erstaml mein jetziges System “tunen” kann um etwas mehr Perforamnce zu bekommen?
Welche Dienste schaltet ihr z.b unter XP ab?
Macht ihr bestimmte BIOS Einstellungen?
Gibt es bestimmte XP Einstellungen die man vornehmen kann?
Ist Win 2000 sogar besser für Musik Anwendungen (nicht soviel Desktop “Schnickschnack”)?
Ich benutze einen AMD Athlon XP 2000. Eine Nvidia 440 (64 MB) Grafik. hoohntech DSP 2000 Soundcard. 512 MB RAM. MSI MS-6593 Board mit KT
Chipsatz. Windoes XP Home.

Ich habe Momentan podium auf meinem AMD XP2000 mit 512 MB Ram laufen. Da fangen bei vier Plugins (z.b STS 26, Drummatic und Korg Legacey usw.) sowie Effekte (reverb, kompressor und eq) schnell an zu knarzen 🙂 … meine Hoohntech DSP 2000 ist auch nicht mehr die jüngste :-))

Läuft Podium damit 100 %? Habt ihr schon Erfahrungen sammeln können?
Ich habe gelesen, dass es eventuell Probleme mit dem Core Duo und einigen Plugins geben könnte.
Welches OS? Vista 64 oder XP Prof. 64
Was meint ihr zu meinem geplanten system?
