    Hey there,

Yes the problem is that even just a few synths open and working put the CPU up meter more than they would of on my previous working with cubase. I don’t have problems with crackling etc at this stage.

It was in 64bit resolution and switching to 32bit made little (in fact I dont think any) difference. Nor did increasing the buffer to 100ms as opposed to the current setting of 50ms.

I don’t have cubase anymore to do an A/B but am pretty certain I’m not imagining it 😆 As at the moment it’s noticable when Im only running VST synths, then when I think back to cubase I would of been doing that AND having alot of vst effects on each channel and I haven’t even got around to that stage in Podium and already the CPU meter is going up quite a bit.

An example is 4 VSTis 2x the free Synth 1 and 2x disco dsp highlife and the cpu is at 11/12 PC. In fact come to think of it, it could be DiscoDSP highlife ? I have heard DiscoDSP softwares are very hard on the CPU. I’ll check when I get home.

    Thanks for the reply
