Hi, I managed to reproduce a similar problem in a different way, opening an arrangement with NI Battery loaded on a track. I’m pretty sure it was becaues the Battery sample browser was pointed at a massive directory of thousands of wavs. Podium would do a similar thing with the not responding message but after about 10 secs or so it recovered. Hope that helps diagnose it.
Edit: I should add this is Vista x64 on a pretty fast music/gaming PC with a Q6600 CPU.
