No. It was put on hold by the recent batch of mixer updates. I hope to get back to it later this summer.

It sounds to me like there is a high-priority system service that is running on the second CPU. As soon as the 2nd CPU is used by Podium (or rather the ASIO thread is running on the 2nd CPU), it will compete with this service for CPU time. Try temporarily disabling any virus checkers, spyware, etc. that you may have running.

When activating “use name of mapped object” in the track properties, the track shows the name in the track region, but not in the mixer. The track should show the name when minimized..

Or is this on purpose?

To save space the track name is not shown in the mixer if the “use name of object” option is enabled, because otherwise you would have two lines with the exact same text (first the track name and below the map name).

I’ll add the double-click shortcut to the next release.

I’ve now acquired another external to replace the current one and partitioned 144 GB for Project data and 4.8 GB for Temp Folder. The theory being that it would keep temp folder fragmentation to a minimum.

What do you think?

Sounds ok to me. If your external drive is faster than your internal laptop drive, it makes sense to move the cache folder to the external drive as well.

if i remember right Bob Lentini felt there was an advantage to keep the audio off of your main drive. can’t remember why?

1/ Sound file access won’t be blocked by file operations made by the OS or plugins on the main drive.
2/ A dedicated audio drive will not become defragmented as quickly as your main drive.
