In that case it is best to convert the bank library preset to individual program library presets. Once you have assigned the bank preset to the plugin track, use the ‘create library presets for all programs’ track context menu. Once you have done this you can dispose of the bank preset, and assign the individual program presets in the preset panel.

It is correct that an imported fxb bank file appear as a single object in the preset list. Assigning a bank preset to the track will load all presets within the bank to the plugin. What would you like to do with the bank?
ZynewaveI’ll take a look at it next week. If it turns out to be easy to do, I’ll consider implementing it for the next release. Otherwise, there are many other requested features that are of higher priority.
ZynewaveZynewaveI’ve never experienced crashes like this. Using the menu command to open the Podium guide only starts up the default browser application on your system. Did this occur one time only, or can you make it crash repeatedly this way?

It must have gotten deleted somehow. You can restore the default profiles with the ‘load default setup’ menu. You’ll need to redo your customizations after using this command though.

At the bottom of the arrangement editor, right above the transport toolbar, there should be a bar with “Mixer” written on it. Double click it, drag it, or press F7 to reveal the mixer.
If you don’t see the Mixer bar, then perhaps you have selected the ‘Arrangement (Compact)’ profile in the view menu. If so, select the ‘Arrangement’ profile.

Zynewavewhen i hit a note on my keyboard, midi doesnmt respond to what im hitting, therefore when i preview a key, if im using a pad,
and the pianoroll is set to 1/16 note i cant preview the how the pad should sound and i cant see what note im htting in the pianoroll
I don’t understand this entirely. Are you saying that you can’t get your MIDI keyboard to play the synth on the track you are editing? If so then, then the problem is likely that you don’t have a MIDI input mapping assigned to the track.

I see no obvious problems with the projects. They appear similar to the projects you emailed me months ago. After all this time working on a template setup, have you even had time for creating music with Podium? 😮
Your setup is very complex with VSTs, GigaSampler, External hardware, SW1000XG and plugcard mappings in one arrangement. I can understand that you feel you need all of these technologies at hand to create music, but maybe a simpler setup would be a better starting point to get started with composition in Podium.

The LFX-1310 fix will be removed in 1.56.
ZynewaveI’ve changed my mind. I dislike having to put code in that changes the preset recall behaviour depending on the plugin. Luxonix emailed me an updated 1.1.5 version which fixed the problem in the plugin. I’m assuming they intend to release this in an update. I’m now removing the LFX-1310 fix I introduced in release 1.55, and so everything will return back to normal.
ZynewaveI hate to say it, Frits, but you were right saying that recently added extra security during plugin preset recall can break the compatibility with other plugins. Synth1 presets recall is now broken
One major downside about the VST protocol is the vague developer documentation which results in plugin/host developers having different interpretations of even the simplest things.
I’ve now added a further condition to the fix for the LFX-1310 plugin preset recall. This works with both LFX-1310 and Synth1. Fingers crossed that the remaining 17346 VST plugins are compatible.
Do you have any plans to add the ability to change installation path for zPlugins?
I’d like to keep them installed in the same user-specified location as Podium, or else updating Podium and the plugins can become complicated. You can copy the installed plugins to your main vstfolder if you like, but then the plugins will not automatically be updated when installing new releases of Podium.
