The embedded editor feature presented in this release introduces some changes to the sequence profile layout. Use the ‘load default setup’ menu to set the new recommended profile layout.
New ‘show embedded sequence editor’ option in tracks region properties dialog.
The sequence profiles dialog is extended with new types for embedded editors.
Changed key shortcuts: F6 toggles the embedded editor. F7 toggles the mixer. F8 cycles through the available profiles for the current editor.
Added draggable title bar to the mixer region similar to the embedded editor. The collapse and menu buttons are moved to the right end of the title bar.
Added ‘rows’ menu to the mixer title bar and added ‘show row buttons’ to the mixer view menu.
Resizing regions and panels with the mouse is performed in real-time instead of showing a ghosted outline.
New notes inserted with the pencil tool in the keyboard and drum editors will be set with the note length of any previously selected note event.
The monitor switch on the transport toolbar will show a popup warning if there are no enabled MIDI/audio interfaces.
