    Frits, nice job man! The mixer set up is very cool. I like being able to de- select the additional buttons for a clean clear mixer view, it’s a great way to work on mixing only! Then selecting buttons is seeming to be very functional for the details. Excellent!

    Podium does not write anything to the registry. What you find in the registry related to Podium is placed there by the installer, so that Windows will know how to uninstall Podium. Podium will look for hardware device definition files in “My DocumentsZynewave Podium ProjectsLibraryHardware”. If this folder is not found, then Podium will not load any hardware definition files.

    Only a sequence of mishaps on my behalf led to this. I reassigned the My documents folder to another partition while 1.85 was installed, then renamed the My documents folder from upper case to lower case, then 1.85 did not uninstall properly. After I deleted all zynewave related leftovers in the registry and reinstalled podium 1.86, everything was fine. It only confused me first when I realized the Hardware definition import was missing.
    But maybe with an app as frequently updated as podium it would be an idea to get rid of the installer and even of the bits in the My Documents folder. Just keeping everything in one folder that only gets extracted, eventually adding a path to projects in the preferences.

    First of all I really like those arrows in the mixer! A small but stylish addition. I do not know of any mixer quite like Podiums. Nice work. 🙂

    With large projects such a simple but clear indication of “what goes where” really does help. It will be even more pleasurable mixing in there 8)

    I did assume from this statement that dragging mappings would not be possible. But you appear to have clarified that now. I would certainly still be interested in dragging mappings directly to the mixer. 😉

    I am interested in your “popup object selection in the mixer” idea. Looking forward to seeing how that works.
    Also I do think that Podium mixer is now ready for features like Trim and “pre and post” for instance.

    To get a better idea here is an FR I made some time ago that perhaps would now fit in with your current focus for Podiums mixer?

    Such is the progress and maturity level you have taken the mixer to now, that I keep looking for those features in the mixer! 😆
