    I don’t know if this has been mentioned already – if so I missed it:

    I would like to be able to resize notes in the piano roll using the pencil, and/or pointer. This would be wonderfull.
    I would like to be able to point to where I want to paste an event or sequence of events on the seuqencer, right click, and have it past right where I am pointing. Currently, right click paste doesn’t work unless I am pointing at an event already there, and then it pastes it over top. Not a big deal, but I would find it easier.

    The final, but best suggestion I have right now is, I would like to be able to use the groups and subtracks system with MIDI much in the same way that it works with audio. ie; –> track properties, –> enable audio mixing etc. should also have a checkbox for enable midi send/recieve, or midi group, or midi comunication??? I don’t know what to call it, but for use with MIDI FX plugins. The way that you can drop a sound processing effect plug into a lower level (hierarchically speaking… lover number, higher level, right? ) track and the subtracks play through that effect? I would love to have that kind of thing going on with MIDI fx. That would totally ROCK! 😀 😀 😀

    Use the pencil tool. Select a note. move cursor to the right of the note. Hold CTRL and click, drag left to shorten, right to length the note.

    Not sure about the others. I’m getting my head around copy and paste too. Pseudo MFX support – sounds good!

    A paste or insert will be placed at the start of a segment selection, and if no segment is selected, then at the current cursor position. I’ll add a ‘Insert here’ kind of menu to the future plan.

    Already on the plan is support for MIDI output for VST plugins (e.g. Groove Agent note patterns). Once this is done then VST plugins could actually be used as pure MIDI plugins. It’s been a couple of years since I last browsed the MFX documentation so I may look into this again at some point.

    Thanx Duncan, I should have known there was a method for that. You have just saved me a lot of tweaking time.

    As for the vst midi thing, that sounds great. I was interested in checking out the ERA vintage style step sequencer from b-sonerus (or somthing like that) so that would be way cool.
