Topic: Ableton Live 8 not rewiring?

    Somehow, Live 8 just doesn’t want to show up as a ReWire device in Podium. I already tried removing and reinstalling it a few times…

    Live 7 still rewires normally, as does the demo version of Reason.

    Before I nag Ableton, is there maybe someone here who has a copy of Live 8 and could test this, please?

    Working just fine here with live 8.1.1
    You have to assign a rewire device to a track in Podium before starting live, otherwise it will just start normally instead of in rewire slave mode (but I think you already know this)

    Okay, then at least the problem’s not with Podium (as expected). It doesn’t seem to install as a ReWire application even though I made sure to run it standalone the first time. I only have version 8.0.10, since it’s Live Lite, but I would think it features ReWire just like Live Lite 7…
