For some reason when using multiple instances, only the first instance will load up the last used preset when monitoring is switched back on for the arrangement πŸ˜• . I have tried both unchecking the link to global instances box, and setting them up each as different global instance numbers to no avail. Presumably this will be fixed when the feature to automatically store hidden presets feature is added? Any idea on a time scope for this?

For now I will just have to make do with a different sampler or manually restoring each instance of intakt to its previous setting so its no biggy, but just a bit of an inconvenience.

If you are using Intakt as an insert plugin, then try to create a library preset on each Intakt track. Press the ‘New’ button in the preset panel.

That’s what i’ve been doing… i’ve checked that its synced as well, and that they are each using seperate presets…

Maybe it’s because Intakt is storing some information in bank (fxb) presets that is not present in program (fxp) presets. Try creating bank library presets instead. Use the ‘new bank library preset’ track context menu.

Done… still no luck though… the first preset restores fine, and I can apply it to other instances as well, but the others appear empty… If i try to load them the “Intakt: Loading Patch” window flashes up for a split second but intakt keeps its default initial settings with no file open…

Just tried it with my Intakt demo. Of course the demo does not allow creating presets, so I cannot test this on my setup. Have you had any success recalling presets for multiple Intakt instances in other hosts?

Yeah it works ok in cubase but to be honest I am starting to think maybe intakt is just badly designed… apparently it has similiar issues in sonar as well where although it manages to load up the right program a lot of the settings reset, so perhaps these problems are linked… thanks for your time again Frits, your a legend πŸ˜‰ .
