while testing out Podium’s basic feature set, I found that after I record MIDI, and right click the just recorded MIDI object on the timeline, selecting either quantize or adjust timing doesn’t really do anything. If I double click the MIDI object and open piano roll, select all the notes and do quantize or adjust timing, it actually works. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

    They are two different things.
If you right click on the MIDI event and select Quantize, you quantize the whole event (alignment with the timeline grid).
If you open the event editor (piano roll), you quantize the notes.
Both also work with the snap disabled.
    Same behavior for Adjust timing.

got it. So basically to quantize or adjust timing for individual notes, I need to be in the piano roll. Is there any way to set default timing parameters on a per track basis? Basically I don’t want to have to open up piano roll every time I want to bulk adjust timing, or for example, set multiple event clips (for ex, like 1000 throughout the song) to the same adjust timing parameters.

I don’t know if it’s possible “per track”. But you can always merge all events in that track in one whole event, quantize it and then split it when you need.
