When I record a track, that track is corrupted. I first noticed that when performing a Fade Out on a track I recorded using Podium, it doesn’t fade out – it creates silence instead. However, if I try to Fade Out on another wave file (not created using Podium), it works fine.

Seems Podium creates a wav file that is flagged as a 32 bit file, when the file is actually 16 bit. This file is not loadable into most audio editors. Has anyone else run into this one? Frustrating when your software creates a file that it can’t then edit.

Ouch – I’m sorry you’re having a nasty problem like this. I know of no similar reports so far…

The only setting that could possibly change bit-depth of recorded audio is found in the Engine tab in the Preferences dialog, though I think there must be something else broken in this case.

So, does this happen every time you record? Can you give any more information on the broken WAV file, or maybe even upload it somewhere?
