Hello, I´m still trying Podium demo (2.29). Yesterday I made project with cca 25 VST plugins, some MIDI notes and multi-output drum plugin (Addictive Drums). I worked whole evening on it when it suddenly crashed. So I started Podium again, load that project and it crashes again. And again. I tried to load default song (i believe it is called „freebees“, I´m not at home now) and it crashed too. So i tried to run Repair function of installer. Crashes again. So i reinstalled Podium. Crash. Then I discovered „start project with OFF button“ function. The project is loaded. I hit „play“ and crash happens. So I tried this again, and bypassed all plugins. Crash. Load and delete all plugins, then I used Undo until all plugins were back again. And voila, it works now! I saved project. Later I realised that all plugins have now stock settings :((( So I lost my work. Is this Podium´s problem, or „bad“ plugins (never had problems with them in the past), or is it me, or…?

I’m sorry you lost some work. It is likely that the crash is caused by a plugin. However, those crashes can normally be avoided by bypassing all plugins before you activate power/play. You say that it still crashed when all plugins were bypassed, which puzzles me.

Deleting a plugin from a track, and then undoing the delete, will currently not restore the preset data. That is a flaw in Podium, and something I’ll fix in the future.

Zynewave: thanks for kind reply. I will save more copies of my work in future (eg. not saving to one file everytime, but often make many saves- save1, save2, etc.).
