    Hi Frits,

I often use a piano sound to work out ideas but I keep getting caught out because Podium, unlike my other hosts, doesn’t record the Sustain Pedal controller (CC64) by default. I use Sustain a lot, and it’s a real disappointment to get to the end of a jam session only to find out the Sustain hasn’t been recorded because I forgot to add it as one of the MIDI Parameters.

Is there a way to customise the default MIDI Parameters so Sustain always gets recorded by default when I create a new Track/Arrangement/Project?

    Cheers,

    Malcolm.

There’s no way to customize them, but I don’t mind extending the set of MIDI parameters that are created by default. I’ve now added Channel Pressure and Sustain Pedal (CC64). Are there any other common performance parameters that should be included?

    Thanks. 🙂

I thought Podium used to automatically record any MIDI data a controller sent (back around v 2.04)?

Is it possible to have an option for this?

    Cheers,

    Malcolm.

To record a MIDI controller, it has always been a requirement that a matching MIDI parameter object existed in the device definition.
